cuts like a knife

i knew that bristol paper wasn’t too be trusted. Behind that smooth white surface was such a dark soul.

Apologies for missing Fridays strip. My wife had a endoscopic procedure scheduled and after spending many hours sitting in a hospital waiting room I just wasn’t up for doing a strip that night. The wife is fine by the way. There has been a refund deposited into the cosmic bank for the tens of you reading this strip. Please consult the universal bank teller for receiving your refund.

good day.

Dude, I am SO freked out by exacto knives — I was once stabbed TWICE by accident in the same day UNDER MY FINGERNAIL by an exacto. (I was helping someone cover an end table decoupaged in Elvis with contact paper; he slipped with the exacto knife (twice) while I was holding the contact paper taut.) So yeah — exacto knives — not to be trusted. Thanks for letting the world know.

yeah i’ve had two x-acto injuries and the scars to prove it. the first one the knife jumped up on top of my t-square and sliced right into my index finger. the second one i had set my palm down on the ground to balance myself right onto a x-acto with the blade up.

the funniest thing about the second one is my friend took me to an emergency clinic to get stitched up, but went to the wrong building. he had taken me to the OBGYN building. I mean i know i was bleeding but um… not like that. :)
