I am getting a little more comfortable with my wacom. Here i thought my cats had ruined my pen, but it still works. I just don’t have any clicky click buttons on my pen. I filmed some of my drawing on ustream which you can see here. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/magnetic-ink

What is this? a new strip? This is the first time I have done a whole strip completely with photoshop and a Wacom from conception to execution. Not totally happy with it, but it is a learning process. I’ll try to do another one faster than 6 months time. no promises though

A new strip to celebrate the week of vacation I will be taking next week. Unfortunately I am so behind on house and yard work that I will be playing catchup at the homestead but maybe I can slip in some comic work.

So my comic output has been sporadic. Work is insistent on playing a larger part in my life than i desire it too. To say i am sorry for the 2-3 people who read this i’ve uploaded 18 images from my little sketchbook i doodle in here at work. I think of it as my cigarette i smoke, cept i don’t smoke, nor do i have to doodle outside in the hot/cold outdoors. not that there is anything wrong with that. so enjoy. you 2 or 3 people.

…into the future. sigh whenever college starts up commute time takes a big increase with the new in flow of bodies. the next commute time increase will be daylight savings being turned back. why? because brake lights look a lot brighter in twilight so people will hit their breaks a lot more in reaction to one person. true story.

i love fall. the colors of the leaves. the relief from summer heat. the harvest. the football. the joy of being able to wear my favorit sweat shirt.

This week marks the first week I am ahead of schedule. Not only has taking on this new simplicity with my art style increased my output, but it’s also allowed me to remove a lot of filtering and editing of concepts as i just let it flow out.  Right now faster is better for me.

i think i like this simplicity…  er as long as i stick with the big ink pen.
